Fellow membership status represents less than 1% of ASQ members and is earned by meeting the following criteria:
Have at least 15 years of quality-related experience
Achieve requirements across six professional categories (technical competence, occupational responsibility, publications, ASQ activities, professional affiliations other than ASQ, teaching or consulting)
Are sponsored by peers and endorsed by their ASQ section or division
Have been a senior member for five years or longer
Academicians are invited proportionately from among the major regions of the world and are approximately divided into thirds from Asia, America, and Europe-Middle East and Africa. The International Academy for Quality identifies and recruits both thought leaders and exceptional practitioners to receive invitations for membership. The number of Academicians is limited to 100 individuals at any given time and represents approximately 45 nations.
QMS Principal Auditor, Exemplar Global (Scope includes ISO 9001:2015)
This certification provides international recognition for individuals who audit ISO 9001-based systems. Certification provides proof of competence to effectively audit quality management systems through extensive examination of their knowledge, work experience, and competence to audit. The Principal Auditor has demonstrated the competencies to conduct a quality management system audit and perform either alone or as a member of an audit team.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL, PROJECT MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE
Project Management Professionals have demonstrated extensive knowledge and mastery of project management concepts, tasks, and techniques that are applicable across virtually any industry and methodology. PMPs are able to speak and understand the global language of project management. Individuals that earn this certification have demonstrated the knowledge and skills needed to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close a project.
QMS LEAD AUDITOR, RABQSA, 1999-2010
These are the certifications typically held by Certification Body (third party) auditors. They are globally recognized certifications that prove a candidate has the demonstrated ability to perform all or any part of a quality management system audit, alone or as a member of a team, and has demonstrated the ability to manage an audit team and coordinate all aspects of a complete quality management system audit. Elements of certification include formal education, audit training, work experience, and auditing experience.

PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence, a symbol of achievement and assurance of quality. Professional Engineers have completed a four-year college degree, worked under another PE for at least four years, passed two intensive competency exams, and continually maintain and improve their skills throughout their careers, renewing their license biennially.

A professional who understands the principles of product and service quality evaluation and control.
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor
A professional who understands the standards and principles of auditing and the auditing techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting to determine a quality system's adequacy and deficiencies. The Certified Quality Auditor analyzes all elements of a quality system and judges its degree of adherence to the criteria of industrial management and quality evaluation and control systems.
ASQ Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence
The Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence is a professional who leads and champions process-improvement initiatives - everywhere from small businesses to multinational corporations - that can have regional or global focus in a variety of service and industrial settings. A CMQ/OE facilitates and leads team efforts to establish and monitor customer/supplier relations, supports strategic planning and deployment initiatives, and helps develop measurement systems to determine organizational improvement. The CMQ/OE motivates and evaluates staff, manages projects and human resources, analyzes financial situations, determines and evaluates risk, and employs knowledge management tools and techniques in resolving organizational challenges.
ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
A professional who can explain Six Sigma philosophies and principles, including supporting systems and tools. A Black Belt demonstrates team leadership, understands team dynamics and assigns team member roles and responsibilities. Black belts have a thorough understanding of all aspects of the define, measure, analyze, improve and control (DMAIC) model in accordance with Six Sigma principles. They have basic knowledge of lean enterprise concepts, can identify non-value-added elements and activities and are able to use specific tools.

ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer
A professional who understands the principles of performance evaluation and prediction to improve product/systems safety, reliability and maintainability.
NQA Associate Consultant
A management systems consultant whose credentials and references have been validated through high survey ratings and customer feedback. NQA is a Certification Body (registrar) and does not provide consultancy to ensure they deliver impartial certification services. ASQ Certified Calibration Technician
A technician who tests, calibrates, maintains, and repairs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, analytical, and electronic measuring, recording and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards.
ASQ Certified Supplier Quality Professional
A professional who works with an organization's supply chain and suppliers to continuously improve performance of key system components (increase lifecycle, reduce scrap, improve repair processes) by implementing process controls and developing quality assurance plans. The CSQP tracks data, identifies improvement projects, and manages cross functional implementation to improve performance of key components and suppliers.
